LEMON FRUIT POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. chopped mixed candied fruit
3/4 c. dried currants
1/2 c. golden raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. lemon peel
1 1/4 c. butter, soft
1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour tube or Bundt pan. Sift flour and baking powder. Add candied fruits and nuts; blend all well. Cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add sugar and egg; beat about 7 minutes. Stir in vanilla. Fold in flour and fruit mixture. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes.
