SLAW WITH VINEGAR DRESSING 
1 med. head cabbage
1 med. green onion
1 med. green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. boiling water

DRESSING:

3/4 c. vinegar
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. mustard seed

Shred cabbage; chop onion and pepper. Mix and add salt. Add boiling water and let stand 1 hour; drain. Combine dressing ingredients and boil 5 minutes. Add to drained vegetables. Chill and serve.
