EASY SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
3 slices bacon, minced
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, pressed
1 lb. ground round
2 1/2 c. solid pack tomatoes with juice
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms, sauteed
Salt & pepper to taste
1 (3 oz.) can tomato paste
1 bay leaf
Fat pinches each of oregano, rosemary & basil

Cook bacon slowly over a low flame, stir in onion, garlic and ground round. Saute until tender and brown; add other ingredients; simmer for at least 1 hour. Serve over pasta.
