1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3 c. flour
1 scant tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. nuts
1 c. coconut
3 c. chopped apples

Beat together oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Add flour, soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon. Beat well. Add nuts, coconut and apples. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Let cool.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. brown sugar, packed

Boil for 3 minutes and pour over cake.
