"MOM'S VEGGIE CHOWDER" 
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 qt. green beans
2 c. thick sliced carrots
2 c. diced potatoes
1/2 c. flour
2 c. chicken broth or bouillon
1 tsp. savory
2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. dill weed
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk

Melt butter in 3 quart sauce pan, saute' onion until tender. Add vegetables, broth and seasonings. Bring to a boil, and simmer until done. Combine flour and milk and stir into hot mixture. Best when served with hot corn bread or grilled cheese sandwich. Mmm-Mmm good on a cold night!
