MEAT CABBAGE ROLLS (Pressure Cooker) | |
1 lg. head cabbage 1 lb. ground beef 2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. cooked rice 1 c. milk 2 tbsp. shortening 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1/2 c. water Separate cabbage leaves and soften in boiling water. Drain. Combine meat, salt, pepper, cooked rice and milk; mix well. Place a tablespoon of mixture on cabbage leaf and roll up and place in pressure cooker that you have melted the 2 tablespoons of shortening in. Brown slightly. Sprinkle with brown sugar and add 1/2 cup water. Close cover securely. Cook 10 minutes at highest pressure. Remove from heat and let pressure drop. |
