BAKED APPLES WITH MINCEMEAT 
6 apples
1/2 c. mincemeat
6 tbsp. light brown sugar
Grated rind of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. honey

Wash and core apples. Hollow out to about 1/2 inch thick. Chop pulp fine and mix with mincemeat and lemon rind. Mix well. Fill apples and place in baking dish. Add lemon juice with enough water to make 1/2 cup. Sprinkle apples with brown sugar and drizzle with honey. Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Baste occasionally. Microwave level 9 for 8-10 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
