SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) chocolate chips

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Prepare cake according to box. Fill cupcake holder half full. Mix cream cheese and sugar. Beat 1 egg, add dash of salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop teaspoons in center of each cupcake mixture. Bake according to box. Let cool, then frost.

ICING: Cream Crisco and sugar, add rest of ingredients. Add lukewarm milk.
