PIGS IN A BLANKET 
1/2 lb. each hamburg and ground pork
Rice - par boil, half tender
Onion, grated
Salt and pepper
1 egg per pound of meat
Salt pork (rendered), use juice fat and all

Mix all together. Par boil cabbage - whole head - drain in colander. Put filling in leaves in greased roaster. Cook 1/2 covered - 1/2 uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Pour off juice and add 1 can tomato soup, 1 can tomato sauce, thinned with 1 can water. Salt and pepper. Cover cabbage and cook until warm.
