PIG - IN - THE - BLANKETS 
4 1/2 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. shortening
4 lbs. sausage meat
Salt and pepper
4 rusk, rolled fine

Mix the first 4 ingredients; beat 2 eggs in large measuring cup and add enough milk to make 1 3/4 cups. Mix with top ingredients. Let stand 1 hour. Shape meat into rolls, the desired size. Roll out dough; put meat roll on dough and fold over ends of dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until outside is nicely browned.
