FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
FRUIT MIXTURE:

1 1/2 lbs. chopped pecans
1/2 lb. candied cherries (red)
1/2 lb. candied pineapple (green)
1/2 box raisins

Cut up fruit into small pieces, mix with 1/2 cup flour, set aside.

DOUGH MIXTURE:

1 c. light brown sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs

Cream sugar and butter, add eggs 1 at a time.

FLOUR MIXTURE:

2 1/2 c. flour
Dash salt
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves

Sift together, add to DOUGH MIXTURE, then add: 3 TABLESPOONS MILK, add FRUIT MIXTURE and mix well. ADD 3/4 CUP WHISKEY. Mix well. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake 25-30 minutes at 275 degrees. Yield: 7 dozen.
