SWEET PICKLE STICKS 
Fresh firm med. size cucumbers
3 3/4 c. white vinegar
3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. salt
4 tsp. celery seed
4 1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. mustard seed

Wash cucumbers and slice in long sticks. Cover with boiling water. Cover and let stand 4 to 5 hours. Drain, pack solid in pint sterile jars (enough for 6 pints).

Mix and boil the solution 5 minutes. Pour over cucumbers and seal. Put jars in pressure canner and bring pressure up to 5 pounds and set off heat to cool.
