CREAMY MIDDLE: 16 oz. cream cheese, softened 1/2 lb. Ricotta cheese 1 c. whipped cream or whipped topping 1 c. powdered sugar 2 tsp. almond extract 6 oz. chocolate chips, ground fine Beat all ingredients together in electric mixer until smooth. Spread on crust. CHERRY LAYER: 1 can cherry pie filling Carefully spread cherry pie filling over creamy middle. WHIPPED CREAM (LAST LAYER) (OPTIONAL) : 1 pt. (2 c.) fresh whipping cream, whipped stiff (unsweetened) Carefully spread whipped cream over cherry pie filling. Or, can dollop whipped cream on each piece separately. |
