WHITE CHOCOLATE-CHIP BROWNIES
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1/4 c. water
2 tsp. vanilla
1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 eggs
1 10 oz. pkg. large white chocolate baking pieces

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Mix flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water; bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, and semi-sweet chocolate pieces until mixture is smooth. Transfer to large mixer bowl.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Allow to cool for 15 minutes.

Blend flour into the batter, gradually. Add large white baking pieces, stirring to distribute evenly.

Spread in a greased 13x9-inch baking pan.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out nearly clean.

Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Yield: About 24.
