AUNT DOT'S GRATED POTATOES 
6-8 med. potatoes
butter
Garlic salt
Evaporated milk
Parsley flakes (or fresh)

Boil potatoes in skins (until just fork tender). Then grate on large side of grate. (You can regulate ingredients according to size casserole dish you use). Rub butter on inside of flat casserole. Add a layer of potatoes, then dot on butter, garlic salt, salt to taste or season salt, and chopped parsley (or flakes) - sprinkled over potatoes. Keep layering until dish is full. Pour canned milk over all so it's about 1/2-3/4 of an inch from bottom of dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes.
