BERRY CRISP 
Part 1:
4 c. blackberries, or other berries
1/4 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Part 2:
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. pecans, (optional)

Part 1: Mix berries, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon in 9 inch square pan.

Part 2: Cut butter into dry ingredients and put topping on berry mixture. Top with nuts. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly and slightly browned. Serves 8.

This is the same as my grandmother's recipe..except this has directions on how to prepare..except hers called for nutmeg and cinnamon and said to use to taste so I doubled recipe using same amount of cinnamon and same amount of nutmeg...all other ingredients are the same...I guess she made this so often she didn't need to write the directions on how to prepare...
