GRATED POTATO DUMPLING | |
3 raw potatoes (grated fine) 1 tsp. salt 4 eggs 2 to 3 c. flour 2 onions (diced) 1/4 lb. butter or shortening Grate potato. Add salt and beaten eggs. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Drop by spoonful into boiling water. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse in hot water. Brown onions in butter until golden brown. Salt cooked dumpling (slightly). Pour onions and butter over dumplings. Serve hot. |
