HONEY PECAN STICKY BUNS | |
1 (16 oz.) hot roll mix 6 tbsp. sugar, divided 1 c. hot water (120-130 degrees) 1/2 c. butter, divided 1 egg 1/3 c. honey 1/4 c. brown sugar 1 - 1 1/2 c. pecans 1 tsp. cinnamon Combine flour mixture from package, yeast and 2 tablespoons sugar. Mix thoroughly. Add water, 2 tablespoons butter and egg. Stir until dough pulls away from bowl. Turn out on board (floured) and let rest about 5 minutes. Might need a little more flour. Let it rest 5 minutes more (covered). Heat honey, 4 tablespoons butter and brown sugar until melted. Spoon into 13"x9" pan. Sprinkle on nuts. |
