ICE BOX MASHED POTATO ROLLS 
1 c. heated milk
2/3 c. Crisco
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. mashed potatoes (just boiled & mashed with fork in own water)
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 yeast cake (dissolved in 1/2 c. potato water, lukewarm), plus 1 tsp. sugar
7 c. flour (approx.)

Add Crisco, sugar, mashed potatoes and salt to heated milk. Cool all this and add well beaten eggs, dissolved yeast and flour. Mix and knead well. Put in refrigerator until needed, taking out enough dough and molding. Let stand about 2 hours before baking to let rest (or can be used after mixing and letting rise about 2 hours) then mold and rise again. Bake about 400 degrees for 15 minuets or more.
