1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3 whole eggs
1 1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. mace
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs and spices. Mix in given order. Add flour, nuts and raisins. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
