SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
1 can tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Sugar
Butter
Cracker crumbs

Drain juice from tomatoes. Place a layer in a baking dish. Season with salt, pepper, a little sugar and butter, and cover with rolled cracker crumbs. Then place another layer of tomatoes and continue until dish is full, having cracker crumbs on top. A little onion juice or chopped onion may be added to each layer if desired. Add the juice of tomatoes. Cover dish and bake about a half hour.
