SCALLOPED TOMATOES 
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (#10) can diced tomatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
2 1/2 qts. toasted bread crumbs

Mix dry ingredients; add tomatoes. Bring to boil. Combine in 12 x 20 x 2 inch steam table pan. Add tomato mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 24.
