TOLL HOUSE CAKE 
2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 pkg. chocolate chips (6 oz.)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda and salt and set aside. Combine butter, brown sugar and vanilla - beat to creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Alternately blend in flour mixture with milk. Stir in chocolate chips.

Pour into two greased and floured 8 inch or 9 inch round cake pans or one 10 inch tube or Bundt pan. Bake 35 minutes for layer cake and 45 to 50 minutes for Bundt. Cool and frost.
