GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. green beans, fresh or frozen (whole or cut into pieces)
1 sm. can chic-peas (drained)
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper (optional)
3-4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Place green beans and chic-peas in a 2 quart microwavable casserole dish and set aside.

In a small glass dish combine butter and garlic powder. Place in microwave, on Hi for 45 seconds, or until butter is completely melted. Drizzle this mixture over green bean mixture and stir until coated. Microwave for 5 minutes on Hi.

Meanwhile cut and core peppers and slice them in strips. Add to mixture, stir until coated. Microwave on Hi for 5 minutes. (Cooking time may vary, depending on microwave.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
