QUICK SAUSAGE DINNER NORWEGIAN
STYLE
 
6 links bratwurst
4 slices bacon, diced
10-12 sm. (1 - 1 1/2 inch diameter) onions, peeled (fresh or frozen)
1 c. purple or red grapes, seedless
10 prunes (seedless preferred)
1 c. pineapple chunks
1 red pepper, diced
1/4 c. water

Brown bacon in cast iron frying pan with small onions. Remove and reserve. Brown bratwurst in same pan. Add all ingredients back into pan. After adding water, simmer 10-15 minutes or until all ingredients are heated through. This dish is good served with rice, grilled or baked potatoes, or crusty bread and butter. For 4 persons.

Note: This is a 20 minute, one skillet, colorful dinner low in calories and simple to make.
