CHOCOLATE STREUSEL BARS | |
1 3/4 c. unsifted flour 1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa 1 c. cold butter 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 1 can Eagle Brand milk 1 egg 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped nuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar and cocoa. Cut in butter until crumbly (mixture will be dry). Reserving 2 cups crumb mixture, press remainder firmly. In mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in Eagle Brand milk until smooth. Add egg and vanilla, mix well. Pour over prepared crust. Combine nuts with reserved crumb mixture; sprinkle over cheese mixture. Bake 25 minutes or until bubbly. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. |
