LEMON BARS DELUXE 
2 c. sifted flour (all-purpose)
1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. butter
4 eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together the first ingredients. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press into 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned, about 20-25 minutes.

Put eggs, 2 cups sugar, and lemon juice into blender or mixer; blend until smooth and thick. Sift 1/4 cup flour and baking powder. Add to mixture; blend to combine. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. When cool; cut into bars. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
