DRUM'S LEMON BARS DELUXE | |
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour 1 c. butter 2 c. granulated sugar 1/4 c. all purpose flour 1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar 4 beaten eggs 1/3 c. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. baking powder Sift together 2 cups flour and the confectioners' sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press in 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes until lightly browned. Beat together eggs, granulated sugar, lemon juice. Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with additional confectioners' sugar after cooling. Cut into bars. Makes 30. |
