CARAMEL NUT CANDY 
1 lb. light caramels
2 tbsp. water
12 oz. (2 c.) mixed nuts

Lightly butter 8 inch square baking pan. In a 2 quart glass measuring cup, combine caramels and water. Cook in microwave on high 2- 3 minutes, stirring with wooden spoon to melt caramels completely. Blend in nuts, mixing well. Pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares. Yield: about 7 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
