BY THE POUND CAKE 
1 c. cooked pitted prunes
1 c. Wesson oil
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 c. pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg

Mix in large bowl Wesson oil, sugar, eggs, salt, baking soda, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add flour and buttermilk alternately then add prunes. Mix well. Add pecans; mix well. Pour into tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
