HERBED ITALIAN BREAD 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lg. (14 to 16 oz.) Italian bread
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Paprika

In small bowl, beat butter, oregano, basil and salt. Cut bread in half lengthwise. Spread butter mixture evenly over each half; wrap tightly in heavy duty foil. Place on side of grill; cook 20 minutes, turning occasionally, unwrap. Place cut side down on grill until browned. To serve, cut into diagonal slices. Makes 12 servings.

Note: If desired, can be baked indoors in preheated 350 degree oven, 15 to 20 minutes.
