SOUP A PANI (BREAD SOUP) 
1 qt. heated chicken broth (can be made with bouillon cubes - 4)
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded
1 loaf Italian or French bread
1 qt. spaghetti sauce, heated
Parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray large deep pot or roasting pan. Sprinkle shredded cabbage in pot (about 1/3 of head). Put layer of bread (1/3). Pour 1/3 of sauce over. Sprinkle with cheese. Repeat layers. Pour chicken broth, gently over. Cover and bake 1 hour; uncover and bake 1 hour or until good and brown.

This recipe was adapted slightly - I only used two cans of broth, so it was only 28 oz. Of broth, and a 28 oz. spaghetti sauce. I didn't heat any of it up, just poured it into the pan as directed and cooked it as directed.

This meal was DELICIOUS! The family loved it and every bit of it was eaten -- nothing left on the plates or in the pan! :) It is definitely a new family favorite that will be served again many times!

It's like pizza meeting lasagna, but no noodles and cabbage. A fantastic dish! Highly recommend it.
