DIVINITY CANDY 
1 c. pecans
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, syrup and water. Boil until it forms a soft ball. Add 1/3 of syrup mixture to beaten eggs slowly and beating constantly. Return remainder of mixture to fire and cook until brittle. Add to egg white mixture and beat until stiff. Add vanilla and drop by spoonful onto waxed paper. Add pecans last.
