1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 inch) pie crust

Cook dates and water until thick. Add sugar gradually. Remove from heat and stir in nuts. Pour into pie crust. Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
