S.'S DATE FARM DATE PIE 
1 unbaked pastry shell
1 c. sliced dates
1/2 c. nuts
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
4 tbsp. cream
1 c. light syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash salt

Cover bottom of pastry shell with dates and nuts. Melt butter, beat eggs and blend with other ingredients. Pour over nuts and dates. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour.
