FILLETS ALMONDINE 
1/4 c. sliced or slivered almonds
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 lb. fish fillets, cut into serving pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. lemon juice
Lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Combine almonds and butter in 8-inch square microwave-safe baking dish. Microwave (high) uncovered, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once. Remove almonds with slotted spoon; set aside.

Add fish fillets to butter, turning to coat with butter. Cover with plastic wrap.

Microwave (high) 6 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes apart easily, rotating dish once. Sprinkle with salt, lemon juice and almonds. If desired, garnish with lemon slices.

The almonds are toasted in butter before the fish is added since the moisture from the fish prevents browning.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
