CARLA'S CRANBERRY CAKE 
3 2/3 c. flour
1 5/6 c. sugar
4 2/3 tsp. baking powder
5 2/3 tsp. shortening
1 1/3 c. milk
3 2/3 c. cranberries
2 eggs

Sift dry ingredients. Add shortening, milk and eggs. Beat two minutes. Stir in cranberries. Grease 9 x 13 x 2 cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.

SAUCE:

2 c. sugar
2 tsp. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. whole milk
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
