LILYBEL'S CHERRY PIE 
1 can red cherries, chopped
1 tbsp. gelatin
1 3/4 c. sugar

Drain juice from cherries. Soak gelatin in tiny bit of cold juice for 5 minutes. Dissolve it and sugar in remaining juice. Heat to boiling point. Pour over gelatin. Add chopped cherries and congeal. Stir occasionally and do not allow to be too stiff.

CUSTARD:

1 pt. milk
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
Vanilla
1 c. nuts
