WACKY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
Sift 3 times into ungreased 8 inch square pan:

1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Make 3 holes or wells in dry ingredients. Into first hole put 1 tablespoons vinegar; into second hole put 1 teaspoon vanilla; into third hole put 6 tablespoons melted butter or 1/3 cup of oil. Pour 1 cup of cold water over all and stir with fork until completely mixed. Bake about 30 or 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread with frosting and cut cake in pan.

FROSTING FOR WACKY CHOCOLATE CAKE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 stick butter
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. crushed pineapple

Cook all above in double boiler until very thick. Add 1/2 cup nuts. Spread on cake while warm.
