CALIFORNIA BEANS | |
1 lb. bacon 4 Spanish onions, med. 1 (1 lb.) can lima beans, drained 2 (1 lb.) cans butter beans, drained 1 (2 lb.) can Campbells pork & beans 1 (1 lb.) can kidney beans Fry bacon and drain. Slice onions and put in pan. Add 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup vinegar, 1 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Put everything together and bake in covered casserole 1 hour at 325 degrees. This recipe may be divided into 2 dishes and frozen for later use. |
