CRUNCHY APPLESAUCE BREAD 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
2 lg. eggs, beaten lightly
1 1/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

TOPPING:

1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 5 inch loaf pan. Combine first 7 ingredients in medium bowl. Whisk eggs, applesauce, sugar and oil in a large bowl. Whisk in dry ingredients until smooth. Stir in nuts, pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with topping.

Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool.
