APPLESAUCE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. canned applesauce
1/2 c. walnuts

If applesauce is very sweet, reduce sugar to 1/2 cup.

Cream butter until soft, add sugar gradually continuing to cream until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla and beat well.

Combine dry ingredients and add to first mixture. Mix thoroughly. Add applesauce and nuts and mix only until blended. Pour into loaf pan. Let stand 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Cool before slicing.
