1 egg, beaten
1 c. applesauce
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix egg, applesauce and butter in large bowl. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to egg mixture and mix well. Add nuts. Pour into well-greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
