VEGETABLE RELISH SALAD 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
3/4 tsp. salt
1 envelope plain gelatin
3/4 c. cold water
3 green onions, chopped, top and all
1/2 c. cabbage, finely shredded
1/4 c. celery, finely chopped
3 tbsp. green pepper, finely chopped
1 c. boiling water
1/4 c. cold water
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. carrots, grated
1/2 cucumber, chopped

Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add the plain gelatin, which has been soaked, to the hot gelatin. Add vinegar, 3/4 cup cold water and onion. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Stir vegetables into gelatin mixture. Pour into lightly oiled 3 cup mold. Chill. Turn out on plate, decorate with lettuce.
