RUSSIAN TEA CAKES | |
1 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 cup finely chopped nuts Mix together butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Add flour, salt and nuts. Chill dough. Roll in 1 into balls. Place 2-1/2 in. apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until set but not brown (10-12 minutes) at 400°F. While still warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar. Cool and roll in powdered sugar again. |
