VIDALIA ONION CASSEROLE | |
4 med. Vidalia or Spanish sweet onions 1 stick melted butter 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup 1 c. grated cheese 2 eggs, beaten 1 c. milk Salt and pepper to season 20 Ritz crackers, crushed Saute sliced onions in butter. Butter casserole dish and sprinkle 1/2 cracker crumbs. Add milk, salt, pepper to beaten eggs. Make 2 layers each of onions and soup. Pour egg mixture over all, top with cheese, then remaining cracker crumbs. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. |
