SOUTHERN SAUSAGE ROLLS 
2 c. flour
Salt to taste
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. milk
1 lb. sausage

Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add butter and milk. Blend well. Divide dough in half. Roll each in rectangle 1/2" thick. Top each with sausage smoothed over dough. Roll as a jelly roll. Wrap in clear plastic; freeze. When ready to cook, preheat oven to 400 degrees but roll into 1/2" rounds (16 slices from each roll). Arrange on rack of baking dish and bake 30 to 35 minutes.
