HOMEMADE VANILLA ICE CREAM 
1 GALLON:

4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
6 c. milk
4 c. 1/2 and 1/2 cream
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs until light. Add sugar gradually, beating until mixture thickens. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly. Freeze in ice cream freezer. You can add: Chocolate chips, Heath candy pieces, strawberries, etc.
