TOLL HOUSE CUPCAKES 
1 c. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Combine butter, sugars and vanilla. Beat in eggs. Sift together flour, soda and salt and stir in. Place into cupcake tins and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Remove from oven and put 1 tablespoon topping on each cupcake, return to oven and bake another 15 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
12 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (opt.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat (with a spoon) sugar, eggs and salt until thick; stir in remaining ingredients.
