CHEESE CUPCAKES 
FILLING:

8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips

Beat together filling ingredients except chocolate chips. After well mixed add chocolate chips and set aside.

CAKE MIX:

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oil
2 c. water

Mix and beat cake mix. Fill each greased cup 1/2 full of cake batter. Put 1 teaspoon filling on top of the cake batter.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix together topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of each cupcake.

Bake for 20 - 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 2 dozen.
